Notice of Annual General Membership Meeting* and
Request for 2020/2021 SALL Board of Directors Candidates

Notice of the SALL Annual General Membership Meeting:

Date: September 30, 2020 at 6 PM

 Location: You may either call in via Zoom (access details were distributed) 
OR you may attend in person at the Kane Ave. field parking lot
NOTE: if attending in person you must bring your own chair and wear a mask

The purpose of the annual meeting includes electing the Board of Directors for the upcoming year, reviewing the financial status of the league and reviewing reports from the various committee chairpersons and for the transaction of such business as may properly come before the meeting.

The annual meeting is held, per our Constitution, in September of each year. Regular members of SALL in good standing will vote to elect the Board of Directors. All regular members will receive an absentee ballot in advance of the meeting according to the terms in the SALL Constitution. All board members will serve a one year term. 

If you are a regular member in good standing who has not received an absentee ballot after our request for candidates has been issued and before the voting deadline, please email us as soon as possible. Questions about our Constitution, or about becoming a voting member or board member may also be emailed to [email protected]

Request for 2020/2021 Board of Directors Candidates

Our players need your help!

Stamford American Little League succeeds only with your help.
Our little league is 100% parent volunteer based, with ZERO paid staff.
Be involved with SALL, and not only help your child benefit from the friendships, life lessons
and physical aspects of team sports, but also be a role model for other children as well!

It is especially important that we have families from our lower divisions (Tee Ball, Single A and AA) so that the needs of our younger players are heard and addressed and
to ensure the continuity of our league.

Candidates wanting to be considered for the Board of Directors
will need to submit their names by 11:59 pm on September 12th
to be included on the 2020 / 2021 SALL Board of Directors Ballot.

* Voting and tabulation of ballots will take place at the beginning of the meeting.
Per our Constitution, voters will include: current board members in good standing (1 vote each), rostered managers and coaches from the most recent Regular Season (1 vote each) and families that have chosen to become voting members by checking that option during the most recent Regular Season (1 vote per family).
